Safer Recruitment (CYP)

New and existing care workers and other practitioners working in the health and social care settings.

By the end of this course, you will

• Be able to explain the overall purpose of recruitment and interviewing
• Understand the Finkelhor steps of development of motication to abuse
• Know how to conduct an interview, what to expect, what a candidate should bring with them and confidently be able to make decisions around suitability of candidates
• Know how to whistle blow using the correct paperwork and channels
• Understand DBS and the process involved in applying and making referrals
