The aim of this course is to give the learner a good understanding of what a learning disability is and how it can affect the lives of individuals.
The Learning Disability Awareness course covers the legislation that is relevant to the support of people with learning disabilities, how different learning disabilities are categorised and how they differ from other conditions, such as learning difficulties.
