This course identifies crucial issues in how to work with older people in ways that protect and enhance their dignity, sense of self-respect and self-esteem. 

It sets out the problems and disadvantages they face, and how care workers can help them overcome these through person-centred care. It also looks at how to use effective action planning to resolve an identified problem.
